Le pays vit au rythme du proc\u00e8s des militaires \u00e0 l\u2019origine de la guerre civile. Les t\u00e9moignages des victimes s\u2019encha\u00eenent. Ernesto, jeune anthropologue \u00e0 la Fondation m\u00e9dico-l\u00e9gale, travaille \u00e0 l\u2019identification des disparus. Un jour, \u00e0 travers le r\u00e9cit d\u2019une vieille femme, Ernesto croit d\u00e9celer une piste qui lui permettra de retrouver la trace de son p\u00e8re, gu\u00e9rillero disparu pendant la guerre. Contre l\u2019avis de sa m\u00e8re, il plonge \u00e0 corps perdu dans le dossier, \u00e0 la recherche de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de la r\u00e9silience.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00e9sar Diaz est n\u00e9 au Guatemala en 1978. Apr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudes au Mexique et en Belgique, il int\u00e8gre l\u2019atelier sc\u00e9nario de la FEMIS \u00e0 Paris. Depuis plus de dix ans, il est monteur de fictions et de documentaires. Elle prendra cette ann\u00e9e part \u00e0 la Semaine de la Critique avec son court m\u00e9trage <em>Lucia en el Limbo<\/em>, produit par Wrong Men.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"il\">Lucia<\/span><span class=\"\">, 16 ans, veut plus que tout se d\u00e9barrasser de deux choses: ses poux et sa virginit\u00e9.<\/span><\/div>\n<p>Valentina Maurel est n\u00e9e en 1988 au Costa Rica. Elle a fait des \u00e9tudes de cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 l\u2019INSAS, en Belgique. En 2017, son court m\u00e9trage de fin d\u2019\u00e9tudes <em>Paul est l\u00e0<\/em> re\u00e7oit le premier prix de la Cin\u00e9fondation \u00e0 Cannes avant d\u2019\u00eatre s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 dans une vingtaine de festivals. Deux ans plus tard, c\u2019est <em>Lucia en el limbo<\/em> qui est s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 \u00e0 la Semaine de la Critique. Valentina \u00e9crit actuellement son premier long m\u00e9trage.<\/p>\n<h4>Et des coproductions!<\/h4>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;annonce de la s\u00e9lection en Comp\u00e9tition officielle d&rsquo;<em>Atlantique<\/em> de Mati Diop, coup double pour <strong>Frakas Production<\/strong> qui place \u00e0 la Semaine de la Critique <strong><em>Vivarium<\/em><\/strong> du r\u00e9alisateur irlandais Lorcan Finnegan. Dans une rue de Paris, un inconnu croit reconnaitre en Joachim un soldat mort en Bosnie le 21 ao\u00fbt 1983. Or, le 21 ao\u00fbt 1983 est le jour m\u00eame de la naissance de Joachim ! Troubl\u00e9 par la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre la r\u00e9incarnation de cet homme, il d\u00e9cide de partir pour Sarajevo avec ses amies Alice et Virginie. Dans ce pays hant\u00e9 par les fant\u00f4mes de la guerre, ils se lancent corps et \u00e2me sur les traces de la vie ant\u00e9rieure de Joachim.
