Le Monde nous appartient<\/em>, deuxi\u00e8me long m\u00e9trage de Stephan Streker<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 hier au 39e Film Festival Gent. Une avant-premi\u00e8re prestigieuse puisque Gand voulait absolument le film et que la production a d\u00fb op\u00e9rer un choix douloureux entre cette manifestation et le Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur o\u00f9 le film \u00e9tait attendu, voire esp\u00e9r\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Opter pour Gand \u00e9tait semble-t-il un excellent calcul. Outre le fait que cette d\u00e9marche reste originale pour une oeuvre francophone et ne devait donc pas passer inaper\u00e7ue, le Festival de la Cit\u00e9 des Comtes affichait deux gros atouts : Le FFG \u00e9tant un des \u00e9v\u00e8nements phare en mati\u00e8re de musique de film, la pr\u00e9sence au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique d’Ozark Henry<\/strong>, une \u00e9norme star au nord du pays ne pouvait laisser personne indiff\u00e9rent. Le tr\u00e8s sympathique musicien eut ainsi l’occasion de jouer hier quelques morceaux au piano avant la projection du film.<\/p>\n

Et puis, on le sait les Flamands sont tr\u00e8s friand d’un cin\u00e9ma d’auteur \u00e0 haute valeur esth\u00e9tique. L’Envahisseur<\/em> de Nicolas Provost y a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli \u00e0 bras ouverts et de toute \u00e9vidence Le Monde nous Appartient <\/em>s’inscrit dans cette veine : un cin\u00e9ma d\u00e9complex\u00e9 qui n’a pas peur des belles images et d’une recherche visuelle qui irrite encore parfois plus au sud.<\/p>\n

En s\u00e9duisant le public gantois, Le Monde nous appartient<\/em> s’est sans doute ouvert une voie vers une diffusion commerciale au nord de la fronti\u00e8re linguistique, ce qui est un luxe inconcevable pour la plupart des r\u00e9alisateurs francophones. Affaire \u00e0 suivre\u2026<\/p>\n

On y coit \u00a0Ymanol Perset, Ozark Henry, Stephan Streker, \u00a0Cincent Rottiers , reda Kateb, mais aussi \u00a0deux des producteurs qui montent : Michael Goldberg \u00e0 l’avant-plan et Boris Van Gils \u00e0 droite. Avant le film de Stephan Streker, ils avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 produit \u00ab\u00a0Viva Riva\u00a0\u00bb et seront aux commandes pour le retour de Benoit Mariage d\u00e9but 2013.<\/em><\/p>\n
