De film ging dit weekend in wereldpremi\u00e8re op het Filmfestival van Veneti\u00eb. Vanaf\u00a03 oktober is &#8216;Fr\u00e8res ennemis&#8217; te zien in de Belgische bioscoop. Nu ze volwassen zijn, kunnen hun levens niet verder uit elkaar liggen: Manuel heeft het gangsterleven omarmd, terwijl Driss het kwaad bestrijdt als politieagent. Ze ontmoeten elkaar opnieuw wanneer Manuels grootste deal fout loopt en beseffen dat ze elkaar nodig hebben om te overleven. Tussen alle wrok en haat, ontstaat er een nieuwe band. De film dingt dit jaar mee naar de Gouden Leeuw in Veneti\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>De regie is in handen van David Oelhoffen en naast Matthias Schoenaerts vertolken ook<strong>\u00a0Reda Kateb<\/strong>\u00a0en\u00a0<strong>Sabrina Ouazani<\/strong> de hoofdrollen.<\/p>\n<p>Matthias Schoenaerts was al eerder gast op Filmfestival Oostende.
