Er is ook een divers aanbod van concerten.<\/h3>\n<p>Abel Ferrara, bekend van onder meer\u00a0<em>Bad Lieutenant\u00a0<\/em>(1992) en\u00a0<em>The King of New York\u00a0<\/em>(1990), is te gast op de tweede editie van het BRIFF voor een ontmoeting en stelt een retrospectieve van zijn werk voor, inclusief zijn nieuwste film\u00a0<em>Tommaso\u00a0<\/em>(2019). Ferrara startte reeds in zijn tienerjaren met het maken van films en is slechts 25 wanneer hij debuteert met zijn controversi\u00eble langspeelfilm <em>9 Lives of a Wet Pussy\u00a0<\/em>(1967). In de films die erop volgen verkent Ferrara de donkere kant van zijn geboortestad New York met\u00a0<em>The Driller Killer<\/em> (1979),\u00a0<em>Christmas <\/em>(2001),\u00a0<em>The Funeral\u00a0<\/em>(1996),\u00a0<em>China Firl\u00a0<\/em>(1987) en\u00a0<em>The Addiction\u00a0<\/em>(1995), die werd genomineerd voor de Gouden Beer in 1995. Tijdens het BRIFF zal Ferrara in gesprek gaan met het publiek en wordt een retrospectieve voorgesteld met een selectie uit zijn lange carri\u00e8re, waaronder oook zijn nieuwste film\u00a0<em>Tommaso<\/em> (2019) die momenteel speelt in Cannes, de in Veneti\u00eb genomineerde Pasoline (2014) over de gelijknamige controversi\u00eble regisseur, een blik op de onderwereld van New York in\u00a0<em>The King of New York <\/em>en het politiedrama\u00a0<em>Bad Lieutenant<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ontmoeting met\u00a0<strong>Abel Ferrara\u00a0<\/strong>en vertoning van zijn nieuwst film\u00a0<em>Tommaso<\/em>: zondag 23 juni om 17u.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ook naast de cinemazaal worden tijdens het festival tal van activiteiten georganiseerd, waaronder verschillende concerten.
