Ook de Vlaamse coproductie <em>The Racer<\/em> met Louis Talpe en Matteo Simoni heeft een selectie op zak.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Yummy<\/em>\u00a0is het speelfilmdebuut van Lars Damoiseaux. Het is een orgie van bloed, geweld en humor waarin een jong koppel afreist naar een goedkoop Oost-Europees ziekenhuis voor plastische chirurgie waar een virus uitbreekt dat dokters en pati\u00ebnten in bloeddorstige zombies doet veranderen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>De belangrijkste rollen zijn voor Maaike Neuville, Bart Hollanders, Clara Cleymans, Benjamin Ramon, Annick Christiaens en Tom Audenaert. Lars Damoiseaux schreef het scenario voor zijn regiedebuut samen met Eveline Hagenbeek.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YUMMY - Offici\u00eble trailer\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xbH69asovGg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>De film werd geproduceerd door\u00a0Hendrik Verth\u00e9 en Kobe Van Steenberghe voor a team productions,\u00a0in coproductie met Everstory Productions en 10.80 Films.\u00a0De internationale sales worden vertegenwoordigd door het Canadese Raven Banner Entertainment.\u00a0<em>Yummy<\/em> kwam op 18 december 2019 in de Belgische bioscopen.<\/p>\n<p>Naast <em>Yummy<\/em>\u00a0zal ook\u00a0de Vlaamse coproductie <em>The Racer<\/em>\u00a0te zien zijn op SXSW, waar het zijn\u00a0wereldpremi\u00e8re krijgt in de\u00a0Narrative Spotlight-sectie.\u00a0<em>The Racer<\/em> vertelt het verhaal van een wielerknecht\u00a0tijdens de Tour de France van 1998, die de geschiedenisboeken is ingegaan als de \u2018Tour du Dopage\u2019. <em>The Racer<\/em> is een Ierse productie, het Vlaamse productiehuis Caviar is aan boord als Vlaamse coproducent.
