Jordi Ostir en Thomas Vanbrabant draaien in maart 2020 een angstaanjagende found footage horrorfilm – de allereerste ooit in Vlaanderen. Zij worden daarbij geholpen door onder andere Jonas Govaerts (Welp, Tabula Rasa<\/em>) en Jasper Vrancken (Muil<\/em>).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

De pitch:<\/strong>
\nNora, Bas en Milan maken voor school een documentaire over Johannes Duyster, de vroegere stadsbeul van Antwerpen. De beul was meedogenloos… tot zijn eigen dochter wordt beschuldigd van hekserij en naar zijn martelkamer wordt gebracht. Het verhaal van Duyster fascineert de drie studenten. Maar al snel komen ze in contact met vreemde incidenten, mysterieuze karakters en een demonische dreiging.<\/p>\n

Waarom willen Jordi Ostir en Thomas Vanbrabant deze film maken?<\/strong>
\nZe zijn overtuigd van hun idee en willen na 2 jaar voorbereiding in 2020 draaien. Films maken in Belgi\u00eb is moeilijk. Er is maar ruimte voor een handvol titels per jaar. Als filmmaker moet je veel geduld hebben, dossiers indienen, voor commissies verschijnen, en wachten, wachten, wachten… En Jordi en Thomas hebben geen geduld.<\/p>\n

Ze kregen steun van stad Antwerpen en Fameus, omdat ze geloven in de talentontwikkeling die het project cre\u00ebert. Maar\u00a0Duyster\u00a0<\/em>zal gemaakt worden zonder steun van het Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF).<\/p>\n

Crowdfunding<\/strong>
\nDaarom lanceren ze nu een crowdfunding. Op die manier willen ze 5.000\u20ac inzamelen. In ruil voor steun kan je ‘Renards’ kiezen, waaronder DVD’s, T-shirt’s, posters, kaartjes voor de premi\u00e8re of de titel van producent!
\nOok kan je jouw naam aan een personage uit de film geven. Er is \u00e9\u00e9n naam beschikbaar voor elk geslacht. Zo berust elke gelijkenis met bestaande personages niet op louter toeval…<\/p>\n
