De grote winnaar in de nationale competitie is <i>Saint-Nicolas est socialiste, <\/i>die zowel de\u00a0Grand Prix van de\u00a0jury als de publieksprijs kreeg. De Nederlands-Belgische film <em>Retrospekt<\/em>\u00a0kreeg een speciale vermelding van de jury.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Saint-Nicolas est socialiste\u00a0<\/em>is een documentaire over\u00a0Roger Boeckx en Filippo Zito, gemeenteraadsleden van de oppositie in Sint-Niklaas. Al meer dan een eeuw wordt de stad door de regerende Socialistische Partij overheerst, maar zij dromen ervan het lokale politieke spel te verstoren. De regie ligt in handen van <strong>David Leloup<\/strong>, met muziek van <strong>Raf Keunen<\/strong> (<em>Rundskop, Le Fid\u00e8le<\/em>,&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p><em>Retrospekt<\/em> gaat over Mette, die vrouwen helpt die het slachtoffer werden van huiselijk geweld.
