ARTE France zal de distributie voor <strong>Frankrijk en Duitsland<\/strong> op zich nemen, waar de reeks in 2022 zal uitkomen. Maar ook verder van huis weet de beklijvende drama serie te overtuigen. In Europa werd de reeks nog verkocht aan<strong> AMC Iberia, <\/strong>NRK in<strong> Noorwegen, <\/strong>Walter Presents in het<strong> Verenigd Koninkrijk, Pasaka in Litouwen en Turkcell in Turkije.<\/strong> Elders in de wereld zal de reeks uitgezonden worden door Rialto in <strong>Nieuw-Zeeland<\/strong>, door SBS in <strong>Australi\u00eb<\/strong> en een streamingdienst in <strong>Latijns-Amerika<\/strong>. Andere grote buitenlandse distributeurs zullen nog aangekondigd worden. Bij ons is de reeks nu te zien op Streamz en dit najaar bij VTM.<\/p>\n<div id=\"embed-18ec377c-32ec-44a4-93f5-c8d81e55f07b\" class=\"release-content-embed release-content-embed--video\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Red Light | Streamz | Serie | VTM-reeks | Drama | Trailer\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kaQf5Xu_3lA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Red Light<\/em> kreeg reeds bij de premiere in Cannes veel belangstelling en bejubelende reviews, zowel nationaal als internationaal. De beklijvende reeks viel internationaal ook meteen in de prijzen en won onder ander de Special Interpretation Prize en de Prix des Luc\u00e9ens in Cannes, en een Gouden Kalf voor beste serie op het Nederlands Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Red Light<\/em> spelen\u00a0<strong>Carice van Houten<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>),\u00a0<strong>Halina Reijn\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>Instinct)<\/em> en\u00a0<strong>Maaike Neuville<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>De Twaalf<\/em>)\u00a0drie vrouwen met heel verschillende achtergronden wiens levens vervlochten geraken.\u00a0Sylvia, een\u00a0prostituee,\u00a0werkt in een bordeel met haar vriend en pooier, Esther is een bekende sopraanzangeres uit een welgesteld milieu en Evi is een gedreven politieagente die een grote zaak probeert te combineren met haar gezinsleven. Ze\u00a0komen\u00a0terecht in de\u00a0gevaarlijke en intrigerende wereld van mensensmokkel,\u00a0prostitutie en uitbuiting in Antwerpen en Amsterdam.
