Maar eens aangekomen wordt hij al snel gedwongen om zich bij een gelovige militie aan te sluiten en zit hij vast in Raqqa. Ondertussen wordt zijn jongere broer Nassim thuis in Brussel een gemakkelijke prooi voor radicale rekruteerders, die hem beloven hem te herenigen met zijn grote broer. Hun moeder, Leila, vecht om het enige wat ze nog heeft te beschermen: haar jongste zoon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Naast Adil en Bilall, schreven ook o.a.<strong> Kevin Meul<\/strong> en <strong>Jan Van Dyck<\/strong> mee aan het scenario. \u200b\u200b<strong>Robrecht Heyvaert<\/strong> tekende voor de fotografie, terwijl <strong>Hannes De Maeyer<\/strong> instond voor de originele score. De choreografie in bepaalde sc\u00e8nes is van<strong> Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Rebel is een Caviar productie, in coproductie met Beluga Tree, Calach Films &amp; Le Collectif 64, en komt tot stand met de steun van het VAF\/Filmfonds van Vlaams minister van Cultuur Jan Jambon, Screen Flanders, R\u00e9gion de Bruxelles-Capitale via screen.brussels, Centre du Cin\u00e9ma et de l\u2019Audiovisuel de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie-Bruxelles, La coop\u00e9ration belge au d\u00e9veloppement, Sabam for Culture, Luxembourg Film Fund, Royal Film Commission &#8211; Jordan (RFC), Creative Europe Programme \u2013 MEDIA of the European Union, Eurimages, VRT, RTBF (T\u00e9l\u00e9vision belge), VOO &amp; Be tv, Telenet, Streamz, Just Entertainment, Bac Films, Canal+, Cine+, Tax Shelter van de de Belgische Federale Overheid door Caviar Film Financing en Kinepolis Film Distribution (KFD).<\/p>\n<p><strong>De internationale verkoop is in handen van Wild Bunch International.
