STUTTGART\/BRUSSEL, 29 april 2013. \u2018Oh Willy…\u2019<\/span>, de korte animatiefilm van Emma de Swaef<\/span> en Marc James Roels<\/span>, heeft gisterenavond de Grote Prijs gewonnen op de 20ste editie van het Internationaal Animatiefilmfestival van Stuttgart (23-28 april). Aan de Grote Prijs is een bedrag van 15.000 euro verbonden.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2018Oh Willy…\u2019<\/em> is een Belgisch-Frans-Nederlandse co-productie van 17 minuten waarvoor zowel de personages als de decors voor het grootste deel uit wol en vilt werden gecre\u00eberd.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In de film draait alles rond Willy die terugkeert naar de naturistencommune waar hij zijn\"\"<\/a> jeugd doorbracht omdat zijn moeder, die er nog woont, op sterven ligt. Als ze na een kort herkenningsmoment haar laatste adem uitblaast, wordt Willy geconfronteerd met zijn levenskeuzes. In zijn verwarde triestheid besluit hij de natuur in te vluchten en na enkele moeilijkheden start hij een nieuw leven onder de moederlijke bescherming van een groot harig beest.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u2018Oh Willy…\u2019<\/em> is \u00e9\u00e9n van de meest bekroonde Vlaamse coproducties van 2012. Zo won de film in september vorig jaar o.a. de Cartoon d’Or, de hoogste Europese onderscheiding op het vlak van animatiefilm.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Vlaams producent van \u2018Oh Willy…\u2019<\/em> is het in Mechelen gevestigde Beast Animation van Ben Tesseur<\/span> en Steven De Beul<\/span>. Deze korte animatiefilm kwam mede tot stand met steun van het VAF<\/p>\n
