Het filmvakblad Screendaily meldt van op het Filmfestival van Rotterdam dat Minds Meet, de productiemaatschappij van Tomas Leyers en Marc Goyens, een akkoord heeft gesloten met de Poolse salesagent New Europe Film Sales om de rechten van de Belgische film van Caroline Strubbe, \u2018I\u2019m the Same I\u2019m An Other<\/em>\u2019 internationaal te verkopen.\u00a0 De film ging in september in Toronto in wereldpremi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Het is het verhaal van een man en een meisje die samen op de vlucht zijn doorheen Europa.\u00a0 De hoofdrollen worden gespeeld door Zolt\u00e1n Mikl\u00f3s Hajdu en Kimke Desart. De reden van hun tocht wordt duidelijk naarmate we langer in hun gezelschap doorbrengen en ze langzaamaan leren om elkaar te verdragen.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m the Same, I\u2019m an Other\u2019 draait momenteel in een nevensectie van het Internationaal Filmfestival van Rotterdam.\u00a0 De film is een vervolg op het veelgeprezen van Strubbe, \u2018Lost Persons Area\u2019, een film die in premi\u00e8re ging tijdens de Semaine de la Critique op het Filmfestival van Cannes 2009.<\/p>\n
