De driekoppige jury was het unaniem eens over de keuze en had veel lof voor de prestatie van de jonge acteur <strong>Vincent Collin<\/strong>. &#8220;Het is een mysterieuze maar zachte film met een hoopvol einde.&#8221; vertelde het juryrapport.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Het internationale filmfestival van Shanghai (SIFF) werd in 1993 opgericht en is het grootste filmevent in het Aziatisch Pacific gebied. Ze worden ook als enige filmfestival in China erkent door de Internationale Federatie van Film Producenten (FIAPF). Het festival heeft vier secties: de offici\u00eble competitie die de Golden Goblet Award uitreikt, de Asian New Talent Award en het Panorama luik, waar deze editie ook twee Vlaamse langspeelfilms werden vertoond: <em>\u2019Marina&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Stijn Coninx<\/strong> en <em>&#8216;Het Vonnis&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Jan Verheyen<\/strong>. Het vierde programma is de Mobile SIFF kortfilm competitie, met onder meer prijzen voor beste animatie, documentaire en fictie.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/malakim-van-frederike-migom-bekroond-als-beste-fictie-kortfilm-in-shanghai\/unnamed-2-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-58217\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-58217\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-2.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-2-270x270.jpg 270w, https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-2-87x87.jpg 87w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dit jaar werden er meer dan 2.000 films van 100 verschillende landen verzonden naar de verschillende competities van het festival. \u201cOngeacht hun onderwerp of stijl, stimuleren en inspireren deze films omdat ze via beeld en verhaal ons aan verschillende culturen blootstellen.&#8221; aldus de programmatoren.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2019Malakim&#8217; botst Tom, een eenzame elf-jarige jongen, tijdens een wandeling op een levend standbeeld. Ondanks verschillende pogingen om het beeld in beweging te brengen blijft de engel stilstaan. Tom, kwaad en wanhopig op zoek naar aandacht, daagt hem uit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/malakim-van-frederike-migom-bekroond-als-beste-fictie-kortfilm-in-shanghai\/unnamed-3-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-58218\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-58218\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-3-800x340.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"272\" srcset=\"https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-3-800x340.jpg 800w, https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-3-480x204.jpg 480w, https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/unnamed-3.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>De hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door <strong>Vincent Collin<\/strong>, <strong>Ina Geerts<\/strong>, <strong>Ehsan Hemat<\/strong> en <strong>Poppe Boonstra<\/strong>. De fotografie was in handen van <strong>Laurens De Geyter<\/strong>. <strong>Ward Geerts<\/strong> stond in voor de montage terwijl <strong>Peter Baert<\/strong> de muzikale score voor zijn rekening nam. \u2019Malakim&#8217; werd geproduceerd door Frederike Migom en<strong> Lise Lambert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2019Malakim\u2019 is op 6 augustus ook nog te zien op Theater aan Zee in Oostende. \u00a0Intussen is Frederike Migom volop bezig aan de voorbereiding van <em>\u2019Ngombe Coiffure\u2019<\/em>, haar volgende kortfilm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2019Malakim&#8217; van Frederike Migom heeft de prijs voor beste fictie kortfilm weggekaapt op de 17e editie van het Shanghai International Film Festival (14 &#8211; 22 juni).
