Drie jaar nadat Wannes Destoop<\/strong> de Prijs van de Jury won in de offici\u00eble competitie van het Filmfestival van Cannes met ‘Badpakje 46’<\/em>, is hij momenteel in volle voorbereiding van zijn nieuwe kortfilm ‘billy. the bully.\u2019 \u00a0Het Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds heeft hem daarvoor een subsidie toegekend, maar daarmee is de financiering van de film nog niet rond. \u00a0En dus is Wannes op zoek naar middelen om zijn budget te vergroten. \u00a0En zoals velen tegenwoordig doet hij daarvoor een beroep op crowdfunding. \u00a0U en ik kunnen met andere woorden participeren in zijn film. \u00a0Hoe bescheiden ook onze bijdrage.<\/p>\n

Wannes maakte alvast een filmpje waarmee hij mensen wil oproepen om in zijn film te investeren. \u00a0Dit is zijn oproep. KLIK HIER<\/strong><\/span><\/a> <\/span>OM TE BEKIJKEN.<\/p>\n

\u2019billy.the bully.\u2019 gaat over Billy, een elfjarige jongen die erbij wil horen. Niet makkelijk op zijn leeftijd. Zeker niet voor een jongen zoals hij die wat anders is. Maar hoever wil Billy gaan om deel uit te maken van de groep?<\/p>\n

Dit is met andere woorden een coming-of-age-verhaal. Een ontluikingsverhaal. Het is een verhaal dat Wannes kwijt moet, een verhaal met een maatschappelijk relevant thema bovendien, en we kunnen ons inbeelden dat u net als vele anderen, vindt dat dit verhaal er absoluut moet komen.<\/p>\n
