En \u00e9\u00e9n van de juryleden van de internationale competitie is <strong>Jonas Govaerts<\/strong>, u wel bekend als de regisseur van onder meer<em> &#8216;Welp&#8217;<\/em>. Naast hem zitten onder meer\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Andy Muschietti<\/strong> (<em>&#8216;Mama&#8217;<\/em>), <strong>Timo Vuorensola<\/strong> (<em>&#8216;Iron Sky&#8217;<\/em>) en de legendarische<strong> Richard Stanley<\/strong> (<em>&#8216;Hardware&#8217;, &#8216;Dust Devil&#8217;<\/em>)!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Nog voor hij met &#8216;Welp&#8217; bij het brede publiek doorbrak, was Jonas Govaerts al een naam in de kringen van de fantastische film, dankzij zijn winnende kortfilms als daar waren :\u00a0<em>&#8216;Of Cats &amp; Women&#8217;<\/em> (winnaar Golden M\u00e9li\u00e8s 2008), <em>&#8216;Abused&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>(Beste Kortfilm en publieksprijs op het BIFFF 2010) en <em>&#8216;Forever&#8217;<\/em> (winnaar Joseph Plateau-prijs 2005 voor beste Belgische Kortfilm). \u00a0Ook aan de tv-series die hij voor de Vlaamse zender Acht maakte, <em>\u00a0&#8216;Super8&#8217;<\/em> en <em>&#8216;Monster!&#8217;<\/em>, waren een belofte voor wat ging komen.
