{"id":75232,"date":"2015-06-23T13:06:20","date_gmt":"2015-06-23T11:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/?p=75232"},"modified":"2015-06-24T08:32:16","modified_gmt":"2015-06-24T06:32:16","slug":"tim-burton-filmt-in-brasschaat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/w-l-c.be\/nl\/tim-burton-filmt-in-brasschaat\/","title":{"rendered":"Tim Burton filmt in Brasschaat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Het gerucht deed eerder al de ronde, maar wordt nu bevestigd door 20th Century Fox : begin juli zal <strong>Tim Burton<\/strong> <em>(&#8216;Big Eyes&#8217;, &#8216;Alice in Wonderland&#8217;, &#8216;Edward Scissorhands&#8217;)<\/em> gedurende twee weken opnamen maken in Brasschaat voor de verfilming van het boek <em>&#8216;Miss Peregrine\u2019s Home for Peculiar Children&#8217;<\/em>, dat bij ons vertaald is als <em>&#8216;De bijzondere kinderen van mevrouw Peregrine&#8217;<\/em>.\u00a0 Er wordt meteen bij verteld dat de productie voor pers en andere pottenkijkers zal gesloten zijn, maar dat er begin 2016 een speciale visie van de film zal georganiseerd worden voor de mensen van Brasschaat die wel wat ongemakken zullen ondervinden van het feit dat zo&#8217;n monsterproductie in hun stad neerstrijkt. De film komt op 9 maart 2016 in de zalen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Handtekeningenjagers kunnen zich verwachten aan bekende gezichten als die van <strong>Eva Green<\/strong>, <strong>Asa Butterfield<\/strong>, <strong>Ella Purnell<\/strong>, <strong>Chris O&#8217;Dowd<\/strong>, <strong>Allison Janney<\/strong>, <strong>Terence Stamp<\/strong>, <strong>Kim Dickens<\/strong>, <strong>Rupert Everett<\/strong>, <strong>Judi Dench<\/strong> en <strong>Samuel L. Een verlaten weeshuis. Een vreemde verzameling bizarre foto&#8217;s. Als kind had Jacob een speciale band met zijn grootvader, die hem bizarre verhalen vertelde over zijn jeugd en die een collectie vreemde foto&#8217;s van bijzondere kinderen bezat. Na het tragische verlies van zijn grootvader reist de zestienjarige Jacob naar een afgelegen eiland in Wales, waar hij de ru\u00efnes ontdekt van een verlaten tehuis voor kinderen. Wanneer Jacob de verlaten kamers van het tehuis verkent, blijkt dat de kinderen van het tehuis meer dan alleen bijzonder waren. Misschien waren ze wel gevaarlijk. Misschien was er een goede reden om hen ge\u00efsoleerd op het eiland te laten wonen. En misschien zijn ze nog steeds in leven&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Doordat Riggs al heel wat voorbereidend werk had gedaan, belandden locatiescouts van de film ook in Belgi\u00eb. En uiteindelijk in Brecht. \u00a0Riggs maakte onder meer beelden in Villa Nottebohm. \u00a0En daar wou Burton ook absoluut filmen. Maar ondanks financi\u00eble voorstellen was de familie helemaal niet ge\u00efnteresseerd. \u00a0En dus week Burton maar uit naar zijn tweede keuze, het Torenhof in Brasschaat.
